I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, achieved with the honor of being on the Dean's List in 2024. However, my interest and profession aren't limited to the subject of political science but to diverse industries, providing me with a versatile skill set and approach to problem-solving challenges and customer interaction.During my time through high school and university, I gained hands-on experience working at a Christmas tree sales lot, where I sharpened my customer service skills, bargaining abilities, and manual labor expertise. This role taught me the importance of customer service, efficient communication, and dedication. In addition, I have a passion for education and have worked as an after-school tutor, assisting elementary, middle, and high school students. The experience not only enhanced my teaching skills but also provided me with the important virtues of patience, leadership, and compassion. My retail experience includes a position as a cashier at Marshall's, where I developed skills for efficient transaction processing and customer satisfaction. Although I was met with a challenge of fast-paced and high-pressure situations, I enjoyed the challenge and maintained a cool composure under high pressure. Furthermore, I endeavored to become an entrepreneur in an e-commerce business in June 2020. Managing this business required me to assume many roles including marketing, customer service representative, and logistics coordinator. However, I managed to exceed over $60,000 in sales alone in the span of 2 years. The experience provided me with a deep understanding of business operations, digital marketing, and online sales.Lastly, I assumed the role of a co-owner of a commercial real estate building in Seoul, South Korea. This role has given me valuable insights into property management, investment strategies, and the commercial real estate market. I am faced with challenges of making tough decisions at times but I enjoy every single part of the duty. My diverse experiences have equipped me with unique skills in customer service, education, retail, real estate, and e-commerce. I am eager to leverage these skills in new and exciting opportunities as I advance my professional career.
