Managed and grew a globally distributed team of UX designers (from 3 to 11) to support web creators, developers, and publishers. Created strategic vision to bring human voice and curation to the open web, resulting in “long-term bet” sponsorship from Product VP. Oversaw: Core Web Vitals, AMP, Search Console, Site Kit, Stories Editor, Subscribe with Google, Journalist Studio, and Monetization.

Spearheaded strategic vision to evolve Google Shopping into a platform for evidence-based brand growth. Drove cross-organizational alignment toward initial feature launch. Influenced stakeholders to invest in data partnership with brand manufacturers, spurring formation of Brand UX team in Munich.

Led evolution of Search’s UI framework and delivered end-to-end designs for Featured Snippets, People Also Ask, Media Ratings & Reviews, Improved Sitelinks, Interactive Questions. Led UX to pioneer Search’s first content verticals with native, app-like functionality: Weather and Podcasts.
