I help Project Managers deliver projects by leading the engineering teams and dealing with all the technical aspects of a project. I take decisions based on my studies, training and over 10 years of site experience. I have fundamental knowledge of construction contracts, programmes, critical paths, scope of works, compensation events, variation orders, instructions, valuations and cost control. I enjoy managing people, mentoring engineers and working under pressure whilst delivering work at the highest standards. I am competent, organised, dependable and I have a positive and confident personality and a strong work ethic. I have a mixed civil engineering background including: RC frames, groundworks, piling, drainage and landscaping. I take charge off:✦ Temporary works from design briefs, coordination to site inspections.✦ Quality assurance. I write site quality plans, inspection and test plans, I carry inspections and pre-pour sign offs.✦ Prepare as build drawings, take offs and site progress reports.✦ Concrete. Develop mix designs with suppliers from structural engineers specifications. I pre-plan weekly concrete pours, order and inspect testing of fresh concrete from slump, flow test to sampling.✦ Reinforcement. I liaise with design subcontractors for rebar detailing, I check reinforcement drawings and structural engineers reinforcement intents. I organise site call offs with suppliers and site deliveries.✦ Site inspections and material orders for drainage, formwork, falsework and waterproofing.✦ Project site setting out and site control. I possess in depth knowledge of surveying principles including Least Squares, control networks, GNSS, laser scanning and setting out. ✦ On site, I am fully conversant with use of total stations, automatic, laser and digital levels, static and mobile laser scanners.✦ Process and extract data using AutoCad, Revit, Leica Geo Office and Star*Net✉ Contact me by sending me a message on LinkedIn.
