Conceived to dispense episodic wisdom to at-risk teenagers through story-driven narratives, Lost & Found approached issues common to the demographic in a way that was relatable, insightful and encouraging in a medium and style current to the generation.I played a leading role in the project's creative direction and conceptualisation. I wore many hats throughout the production pipeline, undertaking and contributing to roles such as scriptwriting, character creation, storyboarding, art oversight and post-production, motion direction, and liaisons with client and partner agencies. I also designed the holding website for the production.ASEAN CHRONICLESAnother notable project was an interactive educational project for the Media Development Authority (MDA). It featured a series of mini games embedded within an animated story that follows a transnational secret spy on a mission that takes him through Southeast Asia, uncovering fun facts and bites of history along the way. I worked on scripts, graphics, storyboards and cover design.AMONG OTHERS...I created communication collaterals and multimedia products for clients such as Maybank and Toshiba. Show less

I worked with a wonderful team on a variety of pitches, contributing and collaborating with project managers and designers from sister company, Lancer Design, to develop advertising collaterals and campaigns.Among the publications under my purview were:COHESIONA quarterly for the North West Community Development Council (CDC), andDISCOVER NLBA newsletter for the National Library BoardI was exposed to an eclectic mix of social community events and functions, interviewing and engaging participants and organisers to pen pieces that portrayed the interesting and relatable in a readable way.SEEDING INNOVATIONConcurrently, I wrote and edited contributions for a best-practices guide titled Seeding Innovation, commissioned by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) of the People’s Association.Through a distillation of pioneering experiences from 13 government ministries and agencies, the project aspired to inspire further innovation programmes by collecting invaluable insight to be coalesced meaningfully and disseminated public sector-wide.The best part of the experience was interviewing top brass public servants. I learned how each institution developed methods and platforms unique to their areas of oversight. My responsibilities encompassed aspects of editorial management, working with colleagues and clients to cobble everything from campaigns to name cards. Among the interesting and insightful people I had the privilege of going on-on-one with were:Dr N Varaprasad, former Chief Executive of the NLBSeah Kian Peng, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and CEO of NTUCDr Teo Ho Pin, MP and Mayor of North West DistrictYu-Fu Yee Shoon, former MP and State Minister at MCYS Show less
