Technology Delivery Management is one of four departments reporting to the office of the CIO at Southland. TDM is responsible for application portfolio management, application integration services, DevOps services, database services, and Southland's collaboration technologies.TDM Team Governance-Responsible for defining standards and best practices for in-house software development.-Write or review standard operating procedures for in scope responsibilities below.Manage a team responsible for the full Software Development Life Cycle at Southland-Use of SCCM/MECM for software packaging.-Management of software procurement & maintenance contracts.-Management of license entitlements.-Maintain work instructions and application knowledgebase (for in-scope applications) consumed by our Support Services staff and end-users.Manage a team responsible for Collaboration platforms at Southland-Manage SharePoint Online tenant for ~1900 users.-Manage use of the Power Platform at Southland, including Power BI and Power Automate.-Use of Azure Automation Runbooks and Power Automate to automate many SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive provisioning tasks.-AvePoint Cloud Backup for data governance.-Azure DevOps and DevOps pipelines for in-house application development and CI/CD-based application delivery. Manage Database Services Center of Excellent-Manage shared SQL Servers for optimal performance and use of SI resources.-Manage SSIS for several integrations and ETL jobs.

Joined southland to support the TDM team in the management of their application systems.Re-engineered the design of the COINS ERP system architecture. Completely reconfigured the Linux host this system ran on using RHEL joined to a Windows AD domain. Optimized the file system layout and Progress database configuration for a significant improvement in performance.Updated and maintained SQL Server Integration Services packages for integration between many Southland applications. Managed COTS software vendors and contracts for applications managed by the TDM team. Consulted on in-house software development projects and provided guidance on software design requirements for optimal technical solution architecture.

Supports development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices. Continued many of my same duties as a Systems Application Analyst, but started to take on more leadership roles. Lead many projects for systems validation and acted as the technical SME in their validation packages.Maintained and wrote work instructions and SOPs related to the SDLC for laboratory informatics.Consulted as a SME on instrumentation informatics in support of large projects for LMS and electronic lab notebook projects that were being implemented at the time.

Provide technical direction for acquisition, implementation, and maintenance for R&D Laboratory Informatics systems.Developed a solution to capture images of validated laboratory control systems that could be redeployed on new hardware when the existing hardware was off-lease and needed to be replaced. This solution resulted in six-figure savings each year in reduced revalidation of systems. Tracked and managed 70+ applications use to support research systems used in the labs. Major items included:-Empower Software (CDS)-NuGenesis LMS-Agilent OpenLAB ECM/CDMS-Leica LAS-X-GE DataPro/DataGuardWrote small applications to help automate management tasks using C# or shell scriptsDeveloped a solution to provide SSO service for applications used in a cleanroom - users would log into the room and be issued a disposable NFC bracelet that could be used for the duration of their time in the room to authenticate against computerized systems located there.
