About Daniel Fountain
Dr Daniel Fountain is Senior Lecturer in Art History and Visual Culture and Director of Postgraduate Research at the University of Exeter, UK. Their research explores gender and sexuality in modern and contemporary art and visual culture. Daniel has published widely on the intersections between queerness and craft, and they are the editor of Crafted with Pride (University of Chicago Press and Intellect Books, 2023) and author of Queer Crafts (forthcoming with Bloomsbury Academic, 2025). They are also an artist and curator and often engage in forms of practice-based research.
