About Daniel Gesser

I'm a GTM operator that grows startups, scale-ups, and established companies with transformative software beyond brand and revenue barriers. I tackle problems from a multidisciplinary perspective having led customer-obsessed sales and marketing teams. I've gotten to learn from building in the early stages (growing from <$100K to $10M in ARR) and from optimizing and scaling medium and large software businesses.At Teckst, a digital messaging platform for sales and customer service, I successfully refocused the GTM strategy before acquisition by PE-backed LiveVox (October 2019). At LiveVox I built the product and content marketing practice and led the brand's evolution. The company IPO'd in June 2021 and was acquired two years later (December, 2023) by NICE (Nasdaq: NICE). LiveVox experienced substantial growth over these years (a 55% increase in annual revenue - $50MM). Previously, I led sales and marketing at a VC-funded mobile customer engagement platform acquired by IBM (October 2013), and helped the business expand globally post-acquisition. I'm genuinely curious about people and their ideas and enjoy rolling up my sleeves alongside others.
