In this position, I was responsible for the preparation of sole trader's accounts; income and expenditure, involving data analysis and the completion of tax returns using Forbes. Gained some experience in use of Caseware for company accounts. Additionally acquired skills in general office administration.

For four consecutive years, during the summer period, I was able to develop my own self-inspired garden maintenance and clearance business. This venture required a high level of self-discipline and motivation. It helped me to develop good communication skills with clients, and I was able to use my own initiative in order to satisfy their specific needs. I developed long-lasting relationships of trust and good rapport with my clients. I have also offered effective marketing strategies and general advice to an emerging small business specialising in garden maintenance and clearance, and actively assisted in providing the client with more work.

In this position, I was responsible for managing shop floor, including receipt of deliveries. I was able to enhance my pre-existing sales assistant skills, including use of till. I ensured the maintenance of a presentable, clean work environment.
