Flock Freight is a technology company that’s reducing waste and inefficiency by reinventing the supply chain. Reporting directly to the VP of creative at Flock, I dedicated my efforts to the comprehensive revitalization of the brand. I played a pivotal role in establishing structural frameworks and processes, providing a clear roadmap for the brand's evolution and expansion. My responsibilities at Flock extended to directing brand development, supervising a team of freelancers, and orchestrating the successful launch of go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and brand campaigns.

In my capacity as a freelance art director, I assumed responsibility for multiple web projects. Directly engaging with both the team and clients, I led various aspects, including information architecture, art direction, web design, and the entire design process. Moreover, I took charge of conducting client meetings, guiding discussions, and implementing feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives and client expectations. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in refining the user interface and experience to enhance usability and engagement.

Impacted by company wide layoffs.While at Surfline, I played a pivotal role in the transformation of Surfline's visual brand identity. During my tenure, we not only reworked the company's visual brand identity but also spearheaded and successfully launched high-impact initiatives such as Travel GTM, Gear GTM, and in-house series like 20FT+. In addition to crafting visually captivating digital advertisements, I led the conceptualization and execution of numerous other campaigns that resonated with our target audience and drove profit and growth.

I've consistently conceptualized and delivered design solutions in a timely manner to fulfill marketing requirements. Additionally, I've taken charge of conceptualizing and art directing photo shoots for seasonal campaigns. Moreover, I've been involved in the design and development of exclusive brands within the organization.One of my most significant responsibilities revolved around conceiving and shaping the visual identity, branding, and packaging of Stitch Fix Men. This encompassed art direction for web page photo shoots, email campaigns, logo refinement, and a comprehensive overhaul of our blog. My team and I played a crucial role in establishing and growing the men's business from its inception.

I took a leading role in conceptualizing and developing the initial stages of the MIT campaign, aiming to promote better work practices. This involved brainstorming ideas and strategies to effectively convey the campaign's message and goals. Furthermore, I collaborated closely with both 7D8 and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art to guide and supervise the design process for their annual fundraiser. This included providing creative direction, refining design concepts, and ensuring that the visual elements aligned with the event's theme and objectives. Through these experiences, I gained valuable insights into project management and creative collaboration within the context of large-scale campaigns and events.

I collaborated closely with a talented team consisting of designers, copywriters, and directors, working on a wide range of projects for diverse businesses and organizations. Notable among these were the development of graphics for the 2016 Rossignol snowboard line and the creation of branding materials for the Garage Grill in SLC. Additionally, I played an integral role in securing Peligroso as a client, a premium tequila producer, as part of our design team efforts. Other significant contributions include designing collateral for Gold's Gym and participating in various internal projects aimed at elevating our organization's creative initiatives. These experiences allowed me to refine my skills in creating impactful design solutions while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
