I am now working on a Biomechanical Research PhD at Trinity College DublinI completed my 4th year at Trinity achieving a First Class Honours Degree in 2020. This was based on a research project Conducted at Nokia Bell Labs.In 2019 I was awarded with a Laidlaw Research and Leadership Scholarship. This involves me conducting a research proposal and spending 10 weeks over two summers researching my chosen project. I am looking at ways to increase the tear resistance of rubbers for the purposes or reducing cyclist injuries from tram tracks in cities. This involved forming a team with members from different courses and years. The goal of this competition is to design and build a full sized race car for a competition in Silverstone.http://formulatrinity.com/I entered a competition known as "Where There Is No Engineer" run by Engineers Without Boarders. This years competition required me to help tackle the poor standard of living for refugees. I designed and manufactured two working prototypes for a solar powered energy storage box using broken computer parts I found in the recycling bins. This would allow the refugees to power things like lamps heaters and small electric cookers.
