Contract position. Responsible for the design and development of a web-based "dashboard" which formed part of the company's retail solution. The tool has several views which alert the user when there are warnings or critical errors with hardware or software on systems throughout large retail chains. Alerts are generated by small applications running on servers and client machines, which then update a central database via Web Services.

Contract position. A member of the team responsible for the development and maintenance of Volkswagen CEM II website. (CEM – Customer Experience Management).The main product for the team is an ASP.NET web-based reporting tool used by car dealers, and area, regional and national managers of the car companies. The project supports, maintains and develops the tool as required by the client.Responsibilities:• Support existing software, sometimes troubleshooting if an error is discovered• Create new reports and software to further develop and improve the product• General text/tabular reports for display on the website• Creating graphical reports in the form of PDF files to download. They are used to display geographical information about the location and performance of car dealers.• Write a program in .NET which automates Excel’s graph functions, and then exports this information to a PDF file before uploading it to the website for further processing.Technologies used include C#.NET, ASP.NET, T-SQL, Javascript / HTML / CSS, Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server Management Studio 2005, MS Visual Source Safe
