About Daniel Hare
I am a sports law junkie and professor, former athletic director, and legal recruiter in Texas.Sports Law:I regularly teach two courses per year in Baylor's graduate Sport Management program: Legal Issues in Sport, and NCAA Policies & Procedures. I have also taught a short-semester Sports Law course at Linfield University. I genuinely love teaching sports law and engaging with students on the important topics of the day. Beyond teaching, I have consulted with collegiate conference offices, worked as an agent for coaches, presented or coordinated numerous CLEs, and serve on the Board of the Texas Entertainment and Sports Law section of the State Bar of Texas.Legal Recruitment in Texas:After serving in Baylor Law's career development office for over seven years, I launched my own attorney search firm in January of 2020 called Varsity Search. I work with attorneys and firms of all sizes and types in Texas, with a focus on small/mid-size firms and associate-level attorneys.
