As a Senior Developer I worked on our mostly monolithic application (RoR, RESTful, SQL), its satellite services (RoR, Sinatra, RESTful, SQL), and Frontend applications (Plain Javascript, HTML, contentful, node.js). The samedi Platform is a heavily Frontend driven application (ExtJS, Backbone, AngularJS) based on a Ruby on Rails API. I develop new functionality as well as work with the product team to define new features and on the general direction of our document and invoice management solutions.

Tasqade develops a web based project, process and team management application aimed at professionals with a high load of concurrent tasks, such as Consultants. The technologies used are Java (Wicket 1.4), Flex, Hibernate and MySQL.

At eMarketspace I am responsible for the coordination and development for a social events and dating platform based on the symfony PHP Framework. The whole project relies heavily on Object Orientation and the MVC design pattern. My role is to coordinate the design and programming work of the team members and lead the implemenation of PHP and CSS code in Sprints (according to Agile Software development) of four weeks after agreeing with Stakeholders on the product direction. Besides that specific project I am coordinating the general work load and help developing the project workflow in the office, e.g. crating pluggable modules out of the currently existing symfony sites. The balance between project management and development is currently 50/50 with tendencies towards development during peaks.Besides that I look after improving the overall processes in our little organisation, e.g. by introducing a issue tracking and version control system.

In this role I did manage the nxAdCommerce (a Self-Service solution for newspaper classifieds) product and the implementation of graphics solution project in Brazil. Furthermore I did develop some prototypes and enhancements for our editorial product suite.

At net-linx I am responsible for the web related products in our suite and products that are shared between Directories and Newspaper Publishing. Products are a search engine, self serve module and an ad production system. My job is to drive the development important to Newspapers within these products.

As Sales Support my primary goal was to prepare and maintain systems for demos, resentations and exhibitions to run our software smoothly and errorless. It required both technical and communication skills to be able to talk to senior management about generic advantages as well as about details with technical people.
