Building upon the patented laser technology launched in the flagship product, the Laserlight, I helped Beryl to become a category leader and driving force in UK cycling. I led the R&D and NPD teams during a three year period of growth that saw the company evolve far beyond a lighting manufacturer and into a credible, world-class mobility operator. Beyond their own fleet of fully-integrated smart bikes, Beryl’s patented laser technology and lighting features on over 13,000 hire bikes currently in service in schemes across London, New York, Toronto and Glasgow.

Freelance Industrial & Interaction Design, primarily working on an in-car Satellite Navigation Unit. Assisted in project managing a UI development project, as well as generating the required screens and imagery to populate the unit. Used Flash and wire framing techniques extensively in evaluating and testing the GUI prior to handover to a third-party software partner.
