Daniel J. Franch, B.A./B.S. Email and Phone Number
Eagle Scout since September 23, 2010 from Scouting America Troop 100 at Edenton Street United Methodist Church Raleigh, brother to someone with severe Autism, and “Countrypolitan” Jim Hunt Democrat organizing in Johnston County, the Research Triangle, and the Piedmont to restore North Carolina’s position in the New South as “a stronghold of learning and an outpost of light and liberty” for Dr. Frank Porter Graham. Through steadfast dedication, my faith, and Lombardic excellence driven by humble roots, I have developed the reputation of being a workhorse whenever detail-oriented projects must be accomplished and one of the most diligent Democratic Party political operatives in North Carolina. “Ma bona ustaria, ma bella compagnia, vedli y jogn” avows a sign in Ladin on the wall of a gelateria in Bozen/Bolzano, the bilingual capital of South Tyrol, Italy. Sitting in the Baroque-age building and speaking a mish-mash of Ladin, German, Italian, and English, my cousin Lorenzo enthusiastically explained its meaning: “My good pub, my good companion, old and young.” The sensory and intellectual impressions my curious thirteen-year-old self absorbed with my gelato that day have guided me toward my purpose in life: helping the “vedli y jogn” bridge languages and cultures in economic, educational, and political pursuits. Core Traits: self-starter, quick-learner, team-player, unconventional thinker, motivational public speakerCore Skills: superb interpersonal skills, energetic multitasker, outstanding time management and organizational skills, passionate about training others and developing new leaders among volunteers and staff, accountable to short-term and long-term goals and metrics, and a meticulous focus on personal and professional growth “We cannot describe passion, we can only live it.” - Enzo Ferrari "Life itself is a race, marked by a start, and a finish. It is what we learn during the race, and how we apply it, that determines whether our participation has had particular value. If we learn from each success, and each failure, and improve ourselves through this process, then at the end, we have fulfilled our potential and performed well." - Prof. Dr. Ferdinand “Ferry” Porsche“Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.” - Dale Earnhardt
