I am working on characterizing the Human RNA methyltransferase, METTL16, using varied biochemistry lab techniques and experiments. My aims include establishing methylation targets, determining cellular localization of METTL16, and investigating the regulation of this RNA methyltransferase in both normal and cancerous human cell lines. I am responsible for helping plan experiments, completing them with time-efficiency and precision, and assisting in data analysis to guide my next set of experiments.

I was responsible for managing walk-in tutoring sessions for General Chemistry by distributing students among other tutors and answering any questions from students or tutors. Weekly individual tutoring sessions required advanced preparation and interpersonal skills to form trusted relationships with tutees and maintain repeated business. I also created digital review documents for classroom-setting exam review sessions that were recorded and posted online.
