CurrentDaniel Pollak focuses his practice on state and local taxation, primarily representing taxpayers on real estate tax appeals before the Tax Court of New Jersey and county boards of taxation. His representation of taxpayers includes the owners of virtually all categories of income-producing properties: shopping centers, hotels, offices, apartment buildings, banks and country clubs. He also represents condominium complexes and large single-family residential properties. In the past, he has also represented the City of Orange, Town of Kearny, Township of Hillside, Township of Clark and Township of Freehold in the defense of tax appeals. In addition, Dan has also handled condemnation and other matters involving real estate valuation proceedings.
