Lead a team of software engineers to develop Level A software related to aircraft data network configuration.

I designed and developed software for their Fiber to the Home product (FTTH). The product was rolled out with Verizon in Keller, Texas in 2004.

I designed and developed stand-alone software that aided the Union Pacific Railroad in its efforts to balance their train schedules at each switching yard. (Visual Basic)I also was a part of the team that designed and developed a software product for the Union Pacific Railroad that allowed them to manage and edit their train schedules (C++, Visual Basic, CORBA, HP-UX, Oracle). When UPRR acquired the Southern Pacific Railroad, the number of train schedules essentially doubled. The software we developed allowed the existing schedule management staff to reduce staffing by 1 FTE. The software increased the quality and consistency of the combined UPRR/SPRR schedule set.I also trained UPRR software engineers on the software developed, participated in the production roll-out of the software, and transitioned support duties to the UPRR software engineering staff.
