Level 1 Trauma hospital. Working as a core ICU/ER/Trauma Therapist. Able to work in all the adult ICU (MICU, CVICU, SICU, and TRAUMA). Integral part of transitioning to moving to another hospital building. Able to set up and assist in emergency bonchs/intubations, able to initiate proper therapy for patient. Ventilators used: Servo-I, Esprit, and the 840. Able to manage ER and an ICU workload with responding with the Rapid Response Team. Able to initiate all bronchodilator therapy via HHN, continuous nebs, and IPPB. Also able to continue secretion management management via CPT, Postural drainage, Pulmonary toileting, and Roto-Prone bed assist.

84 Bed Level 3 NICU hospital. Assigned to all patients in NICU including delieveries and patients in need of intense care. Able to initiate and maintain ventilators such as: Drager VN500, Oscillator, JET, Viasis, Arabella, and Bubble CPAP. Able to work independently to administer surfactant, and assist with intubations with ALS RN. Works as a part of the NICU team providing insight, and working closely with NNP, PA, ALS RN, Neonatologists. Able to make appropriate changes to blood gasses. Proficient in suggestions of changes to therapy based on patient needs, and weaning ability.

Protocol driven Level 1 Trauma Level 3 NICU County Hospital. Working with many critical care floors such as: ER, MICU, CCU, Burn ICU, SICU, TICU, NICU, PEDI, PICU, Rehab Trauma Center, and all the floors and transitional care units. Proficient in all modes of ventilation including: AC,SIMV, PRVC, APRV, PCV, and high frequency ventilation/ventilators (HFV)such as the VDR-4, JET, Oscillator. Ventilators used are the Servoi, PB840, PLV, LTV, HT70, Achieva, VDR-4, Oscillator as well as the variety of CPAP and BIPAP (v60, vision, remstar, vivo, Bubble CPAP) machines. Proficient in the use of and initiation of: Trasnscutaneous co2 monitoring, INO, IPV/continuous IPV, IPPB, Oscillator, CPT vest, Continuous nebulizers, lung expansion therapy, lung recruitment, secretion management, ARDS net Protocol, and assisting in bronchoscopies. Trained on the Rapid response team as well as a resource/relief charge RT.

Sub-Acute facility deals with long term ventilator dependent patients. Dealing with up to 30 ventilators each day while assessing patients in order to wean for decannulation. Ventilators used in facility include: PB540, Achieva, PLV, and HT70. Patients are generally long term trach patients, but patients are continually monitored for weaning trials per RT protocol. Daily tracheostomy tube changes must be performed. Currently working as needed basis for training in tracheostomy tube changes to registered nurses or for new RT employees
