Having spent the past 20 years in mainstream consultancy, I have returned to the manufacturing and construction side of the industry. Having discussed the plans that Waycon Precast Ltd (WPL) have with an ambitious expansion plan and increasing produst lines, I was keen to join the business to assist with strengthening the management team and to look at development of new product lines.I am happy to say now that we have moved forward from standard 2D drawings to a much more advanced solid 3D modelling software, that is bringing greater efficiencies and speed to both out upfront design but also to production. We are hoping that the current R&D activities that my team are looking at will bring greater benefits to our clients new and old to enable our products to be utilised in larger formats, including increasing the speed and accuracy of installation.
