I joined the practice in 2005, qualifying as a solicitor in 2008. I am a partner and Head of Employment at Morrish Solicitors. Since then, I have specialised in helping individuals, trade unions and associations across all aspects of employment law, including complex and high value discrimination claims, unfair dismissal, working time, whistleblowing, professional disciplinary and regulatory matters, employment status, industrial action, trade union detriment claims, union rulebook issues and others. I regularly provide training packages and webinars in all these areas and appear in Tribunal as advocate. My particular specialism is in group litigation and I’m very proud to have secured millions in protective award compensation for thousands of individuals made redundant by household names such as Phones4u, Citylink and most recently for former Thomas Cook employees, which attracted much media attention. I also had the privilege of appearing in the Law Society Gazette’s “Lawyer in the News” as a result of my success in protective award claims. As co-author of the Institute of Employment Rights publication “Social Media and the Law”, I also enjoy contributing to legal publications when I’m not fighting for employee rights.
