Provide individual, couples, and family therapy for a caseload of clients ranging from children to young adults to older adults. Provide interventions in crisis situations. Facilitated art therapy groups for children. Provided an in-service experiential of art therapy as self-care for fellow clinicians.

Develop and facilitate daily art therapy groups, along with providing other interventions for adult patients at the hospital, particularly patients with substance use disorder and/or chronic mental illness. Coordinate art therapy programming developed for LGBTQ patients (Valeo unit) and provide training about providing proper care for patients from the LGBTQ community. Complete timely documentation for both group and individual interventions.

Provided clinical interventions for clients at a setting that provided recovery-oriented residential programs for adults with serious mental illness, most all of whom were on Supplemental Security Income Disability. I also did case management work: completing assessments, treatment plans and case note documentation for a shared team caseload of fifty-four clients.

Provided counseling for adults, teens and couples. Responsible for psychosocial assessments and treatment plans, along with case note documentation. Completed training modules in: Trauma-Informed Practice, LGBTQ Affirmative Practice, Multisystemic and Multicultural Practice, and Creative, Expressive, and Body-Centered Therapies.

Provided individual and group therapy for Asian immigrants, refugees and other underserved communities. Responsibilities included Medicaid documentation for intake, mental health assessments, individual treatment plans, and case notes. Coordinated therapy groups including a Poetry Group and developed curriculum for and co-facilitated a Men’s Group. Co-facilitated the "At Home" art show which exhibited art, writing, and video works that clients created in exploring the idea of “How do we create home in America?”, as well as sharing stories of their journeys in coming to the United States. Co-editor of a book of poetry with writing and artwork by the clients.

In charge of coordinating therapeutic recreation activities and running weekly groups for the six group homes which are part of Residential Services. Collaborated with youth (ages 12-19) to establish a fine arts studio space. Facilitated studio activities for youth such as music recording (rapping and singing), poetry writing and slam poetry performance, video production skills, photography, and beat making.

Provided care for children (ages 6-11) in residential care. Initiated new programming in music recording and poetry writing.

Directed an hour-long film about male victims of sexual abuse in Cambodia. Used in training workshops facilitated by First Step Cambodia to educate how to better protect boys and provide services for male survivors of sexual abuse. Worked with male survivors in an empowering way that encouraged their involvement in the filmmaking process while ensuring their safety.

Provided training for an indigenous village in Cambodia to produce their own films. Co-directed (with Kong Yuk village) the film, “Land Lost, Culture Lost,” a human rights film about land grabbing that has screened at several international film festivals. The film documents Kong Yuk's land loss story and shows how the villagers created a community role play video to show neighboring communities how they were tricked and coerced into losing 450 hectares (1100 acres) of their ancestral farm land.

Provided technical support for the Children and Climate Change Video Project that was shot by children from Kompong Cham province.

Supported five rural Cambodian villages in creating community-produced short videos that voiced villagers’ concerns about a major hydropower project that would result in loss of their homes and livelihood. Taught teenagers to be videographers to collaborate with their local community leaders on the story.

Produced and shot a short video entitled: "What Is Community Media?" that addressed communities telling stories through various media, such as poetry, drawings, songs, dance, role play, video, creating posters and photography. The video's aim was to encourage communities (particularly marginalized communities) to find media outlets to express their stories and have their voice be heard.

Provided care for youth (ages 9-16) at a residential mental health facility.

Directed the documentary film, "Gypsy Blood: The Roma, Ashkali & Egyptian IDPs of Mitrovica, Kosovo." This film screened at the European Parliament at a conference on human rights and at various other international film festivals. Taught English conversation classes to children (ages 9-14) for two years. Developed lesson plans and curriculum that creatively engaged students and often incorporated music, creative writing and art-making into the lessons.

Worked with clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build self-esteem as they worked towards obtaining their personal and vocational goals. Collaborated with a client with Down syndrome to co-direct a short film.
