With 17 years of experience as a Renal Physiologist at The Royal Melbourne Kidney Care Service. My team was responsible for providing ongoing care to both acute and chronic renal failure patients, with the aim of helping them achieve optimal health and rehabilitation. Our rehabilitation services extended beyond the clinical setting and included a range of Allied health services. As part of my role, I provided hemodialysis and other renal therapies and helped manage acute and chronic renal patients. I also worked in the private Renal Sector with the Fresenius Medical Care Group. During my time there, I was actively involved in meeting Compliance and Quality Standards, working effectively as part of a team, and modeling interdisciplinary practice. I demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and the ability to manage Complaint handling/resolution and team Management. Additionally, I had experience analysing patient medical histories to assess potential risk factors, measuring and monitoring patient vital signs, providing staff and patient education, and performing staff skill practical assessments and audits within the clinical setting.My experience as a Renal Physiologist has greatly benefited my work in the Age Care Sector, where I currently serve as a Care Manager and Compliance and Community Manager. My background has instilled in me a mindset focused on achieving the best outcomes for Aged Care clients receiving Home Care Services. By promoting a defined set of matching criteria between Clients and Care Partners, I have established new standards within the organization. This philosophy has helped to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and the aged care sector while ensuring that our objectives are clear and specific.
