Currently employed here, I prepare files for print production, design and edit items for clients from business cards to campaign content, and run the digital press when needed. The day runs in quick intervals with tight deadlines and the need to look ahead at the next person’s job when planning my own work. I am rapidly learning marketing skills, methods and software.I take careful, organized notes to reference later if any questions come up concerning jobs.

I have moved through the company from cashier to warehouse, to inventory and merchandising, to accounts payable. I have learned so much in this position and I believe the principles will help me in everyday life as well as my own business. It plays well to my interest in detail and has polished my organization skills.

I studied Graphic Design and with the help of my wonderful instructors, I pushed myself and explored new levels and fields of design I never could have done on my own. The most personal growth by far.

As an intern for design department, I held and participated in client meetings, communicated to clients the details of what was going on with their orders, packaged files, and prepared PDF files for print. Here I first learned to separate colors (as would be done for screens) in artwork. I used style guides to produce posters, brochures and other promotional materials. Some photography experience here.

As a Barista I learned intercompany organisation and the importance of communicating toward coworkers and customers. I learned how to cater toward clients with certain tastes and be flexible within my means. As employees we were well-educated to sell products.

My first job! I was a quiet girl but I thrived on the energy around me and loved the atmosphere. As a shift lead I learned to manage time and other employees, call in orders from venders, rotation of stock, and client retention.
