My role is to acquire door numbers and phone numbers to get people on the market, as well as to canvass and door knock on a daily basis. As part of my role I deal with Vender Care, where I ring clients we have on the market to give them feedback and tell them of there interest on right move. I have obtained many office skills such as excel and Microsoft office also how to use the office database. In my role being organised is very important as well as being punctual because it helps you to be professional and give a high standard of service.

I started work at B&Q as a sales advisor.My role was to sell kitchens and bathrooms and give advice on finance and installation. I also extended my customer service by helping customers pick add on's such as tiles, lighting, paint and accessories to make there dream kitchen or bathroom a reality. Skills I acquired at B&Q was how to communicate on the phone. This was through calling customers back for feedback on there kitchen, sales chasing and taking enquires on the phone.

I took on another Job in 2011 at a Snooker Club. I worked evening hours after college and Homebase. My role was to work behind the bar and build rapport with the customers. I helped organise events to get people into the club and got involved in Karaoke nights and snooker matches helping with repeat business. My other roles within Riley's was to prepare food and general cleaning.

My role at Homebase was a Sales Advisor. The role consisted of achieving targets by selling Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms. As part of my job I was set targets to obtain add on's such as Finance and Care which would boost sales and help with any objections of people not going forward with a sale. I acquired many skills whilst working with Homebase. Firstly how to work as part of a team to provide the best customer service possible. Secondly how to communicate with people by understanding there needs and building a rapport. I learnt these skills by dealing with customer complaints and problem solving, as if you need help with something the best thing is to ask colleagues to resolve problems in a controlled manor. I found I had a real flare with customers and had many people write in to thank me with helping them causing me to take pride in my job. I also took on many other roles in the stores not just my own. I helped with the closing of the Store, Helped in departments which had less staff and covered holidays on the service desk. This means I am flexible to take on any roll asked of me and happy to help out where needed.
