With over 18 years of experience at the DHHS Information Technology Division (ITD), I have had the privilege of taking on diverse responsibilities, including Enterprise Platform Services Group Manager supervising platform technology such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and ServiceNow with DHHS, Applications Management, IT Privacy & Security, IT Governance, Records Retention, Audit Liaison, Project Management, Process Management, IT Compliance, and contributing to the NC COVID Response Team. My tenure has afforded me deep institutional knowledge of DHHS programs and services, as well as the opportunity to build a strong network of trusted contacts across the organization. I pride myself on my ability to tackle any challenge the department presents, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.During my time on the NC COVID Response Team, my efforts received recognition from both industry and government entities. In 2022, I was honored as part of the team that received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in recognition of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Team, serving as the State of North Carolina's IT Project Lead. I also led the Critical Resource Tracker project, which facilitated the development of an Automated Hospital COVID-19 Reporting System. This project received the NASCIO State IT Recognition Award for Business Process Innovations.In 2021, I spearheaded the COVID-19 Vaccination Management System Project, which earned the NC Tech Association Award for Use of Technology in a Public Sector Project. That same year, I was recognized by The 335th Air Expeditionary Group Detachment 2 for my contributions to the COVID-19 FEMA Clinic and received a DHHS Certificate of Achievement for exceptional leadership and perseverance in supporting the state’s COVID-19 pandemic response.Before joining the public sector, I worked at Siemens Power Transmission & Distribution/Siemens Energy, where I held roles in IT Project and Process Management. I was responsible for managing Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance for the IT organization, led efforts to ensure compliance at a Georgia-based location, and served as the ARIS Audit Manager Administrator for Siemens PT&D. Additionally, I created and maintained the company’s Disaster Recovery Plan and served on the Crisis Management Team.
