Our clinic provides free health care services to patients who live below the poverty threshold in Wake County, NC. As a clinic assistant, I am responsible for screening patients for eligibility to assist low income and uninsured patients with access to affordable health care, scheduling appointments for patients of health coverage disproportioned communities, and taking patient vitals.

Summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. Scholars engage in interactive sessions which highlight varying health disparities. Clinical experiences offered through the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Allen Hospital, and Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
