I work with children with Autism on a one to one basis on a home ABA Programme. The programme is developed by Child Autism UK who provide me with training via their consultants. I work on a wide range of skills with children; from academic subjects to social skills, self-care, playing and behaviour management. I use the principles of positive reinforcement and breaking tasks down into small manageable tasks to help aid the development and learning of the children I work with.

Supporting children with autism on a one-to-one basis with structured learning and play activities using Skinner’s operant conditioning principals to enhance language and social development. Working specifically with a 3-year-old non-verbal little girl on a structured early intervention programme both in the home and at nursery and a 13-year-old verbal boy specifically targeting social and life skills.
