My role at CNN International's award-winning, weekly feature programme "Talk Asia" included securing "big name" guests, co-ordinating shoots in locations across Asia and finalising budgets. I was also responsible for supervising edit schedules, scriptwriting and overseeing the tone and style of each show.

Washington DC & Kuala Lumpur

As Assistant Programme Editor, I played a key role in the production of 30 minute- and 1 hour-bulletins from the company's Asia (K.L.) and Americas (D.C.) broadcast centres. I was responsible for helping shape news coverage by assisting in the story selection process, liaising with correspondents and producers across the network, lining-up bulletins and.

London

I was a regular freelance producer on Sky News' Sunrise show where I wrote copy and produced packages and graphic sequences. I was soon seconded to Five News as a line-up producer and became responsible for the nightly 7pm show and weekend bulletins. I also worked as a field producer on Five's coverage of the London terror attacks and several other.

Sydney & Perth

Soon after joining Channel Ten as a reporter, I was promoted to producer to oversee the production of Ten's Perth bulletin from the Sydney broadcast headquarters. I was responsible for liaising with the network news desk, graphics department, production team and editors to ensure the smooth running of the "remote" broadcast.

Geraldton & Bunbury, Australia

I began my career with Golden West Network as a reporter in the midwest town of Geraldton. Based in a bureau, I was responsible for all aspects of television journalism including creating contacts, sourcing stories, scheduling interviews and shoots and writing scripts. I also worked in the network's Bunbury headquarters as a senior journalist.
