As HR Manager - Employee Relations, I oversee the HR Business Partner function for the City of Colorado Springs including two Senior HR Business Partners and two HR Business Partners. HR Business Partners work with the organization's leadership team, assisting with employee relations issues, strategic workforce planning, coaching, facilitation, and mediation. I also oversee Employee Relations, ADA Title I, CDL and Drug Free Workplace Program, and review and editing of Policies and Procedures. I manage six team members, and focus on their growth and development as well as day to day assignments and projects. My team and I have regular interaction and collaboration with the larger HR team and other City departments, with strong relationships and close cooperation.
