Profile bio

About Danielle Dare

My career to date has been dynamic and diverse. I've been fortunate to have had opportunities across the coal mining industry that have allowed me to gain exposure and develop my skills across a wide range of business units and functions. From support service delivery, to production, I've learned a lot!Starting my mining career in Human Resources, I found satisfaction and interest in developing policy, business partnering and change management. Industrial relations came most naturally to me, with managing complex matters and engaging in enterprise bargaining real highlight of my time in HR. Being involved in the divestment and subsequent acquisition / integration of the mine site with two global mining companies, involving a large company restructure and redundancy program allowed me to develop a strong appreciation for the value of stakeholder engagement. With a drive to understand my customers needs, and desire to develop my own leadership skills I took a role as a Production Supervisor within BHP's Future Leaders Program. As a Production Supervisor, I gained new appreciation for the challenges faced by frontline execution teams. I found another true passion in leading a crew of diverse, skilled people. Most exciting was the opportunity to lead this team as the site transitioned to autonomous haulage; another challenge where change management and stakeholder engagement were key. My time in this role was made by the support of the Company I worked for, the crews I led, and the mentorship of my direct leader and other supervisors. I continue to seek opportunities to grow and develop. I'm excited about the opportunities that may lay ahead, and up for the challenge to diversify my skills and knowledge.

Listed skills include Customer Service, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and 12 others.
