I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math which includes pre- algebra and high school level algebra 1. I will be working with the district's curriculum based on the New Jersey State Standards to create daily lessons and assessments. I will also be working with other teachers within the math department to navigate the curriculum. I utilize cross content teaching, real world examples, and problem based learning to make learning more relevant to students who may not accel in mathematics. I believe in building strong professional relationships with my peers and students in order to gain a mutual respect that keeps the learning environment positive. A teacher wears a million hats to do what they need for their students to succeed.

I contributed to a campers summer experience making sure they are safe and have fun. We go through a lot of training to make sure ESF stays the #1 camp on safety! My roles included participating in activities with the campers, assisting Activity Specialists, filling out paperwork about the campers, and making sure campers always had something fun to do. I have also received a Bravo Zulu Award for excellence due to nominations from fellow counselors, teachers, specialists, and administration.

I utilized a curriculum guide to create lesson differentiated for my 1.5-3 year old students. We cover a wide variety of subjects that include but are not limited to Literacy, Fine Motor & Math, Manners, and Music. My Co-teacher and I have built a family-style learning environment for foster creativity and growth throughout or time together.

Mathnasium creates an individualized learning plan for students. Every day I chose 2 skills to focus on and work with students to sharpens their math skills and understanding to combine what they learn in school and the strategies we teach at Mathnasium.

As a cadet in scouting, my mother and I started a troop for girls who had no where else to go since we were low on leaders. When I graduated High School I became a life-time member and took some leadership training, and CPR/Basic First Aid training to continue working with these girls. We have completed their Bronze award, numerous badges, planned trips, and hosted two World Thinking Day events for our Service Unit.

107.7 The Bronc is the campus radio station. As a member of the Promotions staff I help set up, clean up, and work events for the station on and off campus. My specialty is working the prize wheel and promoting the station; I get to personally interact with people and get them excited about events and supporting the radio station. I was nominated for Promotions Director, but due to my student teahing I was unable to fully commit to the position so they created the Assistant Promotions Director position. I planed promotional events, communicated with vendors, coordinated staff, and kept communication with the Promotions Director complete jobs.As a Radio Host I had my own radio show- The SKA Block. I found music and made a set list every week to play and talk about current events and shows within the ska community. I networked with bands locally and all over the world to promote their music and shows. I coordinated with local music venues to host contests for tickets to concerts and host interviews with bands coming to the local area.

As an Ally I took volunteer training hosted by our counseling center to be able to assist LGBTQ students on campus. We talked about diversity and different situations students might face being LGBTQ, being perceived as this group, and coming out in college. I am also a member of SPECTRUM, Rider's Gay-Straight Alliance.

BrownWater is an open mic at Rider University's Pub; this is meant as a coffee house type venue so no alcohol is served, just coffee, tea, soda, and snacks. I started out as a performer and was eventually invited on to the staff. I serve and make drinks behind the bar, I get to know the patrons better and have had to deal with a more diverse crowd and occasionally still perform. When our President is away or performing I get to control the sound board and work with the music.

I am a resource for students on campus, looking out for those in my hall and building. I listen and direct mediation in the event of a problem. We make door decorations, bulletin boards, and host educational and social programs to enhance life on campus.

Rider SERVES is a community service organization that allows students to get involved with their campus and community. As President I coordinate with my other officers to plan events and donations that impact groups on and off campus. I work with the other officers, so I know what to do in case they are unable to. Every other week we have a general board meeting where I plan a PowerPoint presentation to explain what events are going on and how they can volunteer.

The Bronc Band is a pep band that plays at Rider men and women's basketball games and other campus events. As secretary I sent out weekly email to pep band members as a reminder of weekly practice and upcoming games. I would keep track of contact information and who was or was not coming to practices and games. As music librarian I started a project of collecting all of our new and old music, sorting through, it and setting up an online cataloging system so it would be easier to get members music on short notice.

I primarily worked on the sales floor or in the fitting room, so my main job was to assist customers with finding items and creating outfits around certain items. I liked working directly with people so that I could get a sense of who they are so I could help them leave with clothes that not only look flattering, but reflect their personality.
