Since graduating law school I have been a public servant. Currently, I work as a Labor Relations Officer for the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO). I maintain relationships with union personnel, while also advising and assisting managers and employees on all labor-related issues. I also handle employee investigations, and participate in any grievance procedures, mediations, and arbitrations that arise.In addition to my labor relations duties I serve as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion coordinator for the PUCO. I develop and facilitate all employee programming related to diversity, equity & inclusion. I also develop recruiting strategies to increase opportunities for hiring diverse applicants. Previously, I was a Regulatory Policy Advocate for the Common Sense Initiative, where I reviewed proposed and existing regulations of state agencies, boards, and commissions to ensure compliance and eliminate unnecessary burdens on Ohio businesses.
