Call Center RepresentativeMotability Operations Ltd 2014 - 2016London, England, United KingdomMotability leases cars, heavily adapted vehicles and scooters to elderly and disable customers. I worked in the busy inbound call center.Customers would contact me when they had issues with their applications, when their car had mechanical faults/breakdowns/accidents, when their health changed or when they just needed advice on suitable cars and adaptations.Customers often rang me from the side of the road following breakdowns or accidents; naturally they could be very upset/angry/panicked. I handled each situation calmly with plenty of reassurance and made sure the appropriate third parties were contacted asap.Using my initiative to make decisions such as cancelling customer’s contracts early (due to their health) or escalating complaints to senior management.
