I am an illustrator, designer, and motion designer based in Baltimore, MD where I earned my MA in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020. In my illustrative practice, I utilize both digital and analog methods of mark making to create editorial, lifestyle, and comic illustrations. Much of my work revolves around pop culture, current events, science research, self care, and interpersonal relationships. I love drawing people, often set against abstract backgrounds or imagined landscapes. I enjoy combining flat, graphic elements juxtaposed with subtle textures to add depth and my color palette is often bold and bright.In my design work, I like to center the narrative around community. I enjoy utilizing graphic and motion design to provide people with useful, actionable information that is as engaging as it is informative. Motion design is one of my favorite tools in my design toolbox and I am always looking for ways to pepper motion into both my design and illustration projects.
