Danielle Featherstone-Price is a trailblazer within the UK beauty industry. With humble beginnings in 1998, she opened her first small business, a nail & beauty bar that gave her a taste of the entrepreneurial innovation to come. Only a short few years later, she developed Lifespa, an award-winning Dermalogica and Elemis day spa. The spa thrived, but still, something was missing… and that something was Strip! In 2005, partnering with her sister Maria-Lousie Featherstone the first Strip Boutique opened its doors to the UK public. Strip has been in the spotlight for the last decade for revolutionising the beauty industry and the UK’s approach to hair removal. Its unique combination of unparalleled treatments and indulgent lingerie has had editors and celebrities from around the globe caught up in the buzz and lining up for an appointment! Danielle works tirelessly to push the boundaries at Strip, keeping the company on a path to success, resulting in the rapid growth of 7 boutique locations in key neighbourhoods in London; Notting Hill, Chelsea, Soho, City, Islington, Essex and a concession in Harvey Nichols, Bristol; with still more progression on the books for 2017. Strip was rewarded for such dedication in both 2010 and 2014 with the distinction of Harper’s Bazaar’s esteemed Best Waxing Salon Award. In addition to the foundation of Strip, Danielle & her sister Maria-Louise are also responsible for the development of Strip Distribution in 2007. Strip Distribution has sole rights to the import and distribution of Lycon Wax, Lycon Spa and South Seas Body Care within the UK and parts of the EU. Thanks to Strip Distribution, Lycon is now a household name in the waxing industry. To complement the product distribution, Danielle & Maria-Louise founded the Strip Training Academy in 2008, accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists and a leader in hair removal techniques for both qualified and unqualified beauty therapists.
