Maintain professional, yet personal, relationships with clients to build strong rapport, trust, and dignity. Help clients navigate the welfare system at both the county and state level. Provide high levels of advocacy for domestic abuse, substance use, and mental health services. Provide referrals to help clients obtain proper documentation to ensure they receive the help they seek. Throughout the working relationship, ensure client has proper knowledge of compliance to ensure they receive their public assistance benefit whilst ensuring they have the basic needs required to promote self-sufficiency.
