I have worked in the medical field for 21 years ranging from receptionist to nurse. I have worked in hospitals, physician offices, nursing homes and correctional detention centers. I found a passion in clinical documentation and coding education. My most recent job included coding and auditing in multiple specialties and educating physicians and staff on coding and documentation guidelines. My clinical experience allows me to relate with the clinical staff and physicians when educating. I have completed the CDEO program and hope to peruse a career in clinical documentation. I also have certifications CPMA, CEMC and CPC.
