I have always had a naturally creative personality and during the past few years, I discovered how much I enjoyed investing in others and working together towards a goal. Currently, I am a fourth-year marketing and management double major at the University of Maryland. At the Robert H. Smith Business School, I plan to continue my studies in business while beginning to dive into the world of graphic design and marketing to develop my creative abilities further. Throughout my education so far, I have taken classes in graphic design where I was able to further my skills using platforms such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. After working at a small local restaurant where I was allowed to manage and lead other employees, I gained an interest in the everyday operations of small businesses. This position allowed me to gain experience leading others and solving unexpected problems as they arise. I soon realized that I excel in fast-paced environments and in positions where I can engage with customers and develop lasting and impactful relationships. While I have not always had a deep interest in business and management, I have always loved creating and designing. Outside of school and work, I am constantly trying new things and creating. I decorate and sell butter cookies for events such as birthdays, dances, and bridal parties. This passion for creating is what led me to be interested in working in marketing, advertising, graphic design, and social media.
