I am currently a Senior majoring in Asian Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. For the past two years I have worked part-time at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center as a Manager on Duty. In this role, I work as a representative for the Wildflower Center and am the point of contact for clients and guests during events. This job requires me to use skills such as attentiveness, problem solving, and communication. At school this semester I am doing an internship with the University of Texas JapanLab program. This internship focuses on making digital humanities projects relating to Japanese history, language, and literature. My team is working on creating a video game that teaches the player about the history of censorship in Japan. In this team, I work as the Lead Artist for creating the visual content for the game. This internship has helped me develop skills including time management, team collaboration, and skills related to improving my art.
