Group HR Manager for Orbital Gas Systems Ltd and Thyson Technology Ltd which form the nZero Group.

HR Manager for the nZero Group which has over 150 employees based on two sites in the U.K. The depth of the areas I cover are vast and have allowed me to broaden me knowledge and experiences.

Standalone HR role reporting to the Shared Services Director. I cover all day to day duties of HR for over 100 employees based on one site in the U.K. The depth of the areas I cover are vast and have allowed me to broaden me knowledge and experiences.

From telephone interviews to job offers I was involved in all aspects of recruitment as well as general HR duties; including data inputting, audio typing and ad hoc duties. Due to the nature of the industry I also worked to strict standards and company procedures ensuring accuracy and attention to details in all aspects of my work.

Processing customer and service orders by obtaining quotations from suppliers to generate quotations for customers with appropriate profit margins. In order to process the orders a lot of work was done through Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Info/Syteline. General administration support for the Explosion Protection Systems technical engineers. Liaising with customers and vendors to organise warranty and unscheduled call out jobs. Monitoring stock levels and raising purchase orders for inventory items accordingly. Organising delivery and packing of parts for domestic and export orders, whilst providing certificates of conformity and the relevant documentation required for an export. Also liaising with internal and external departments as well as customers directly, to process orders.

As a line manager to my room attendants I ensured the high standards of room cleanliness were maintained. I also organised and processed the room attendants and departments work load for the day. Liasing with departments to ensure the smooth running of day to day responsibilities. Excelling in customer service and improving the guests journey at every opportunity.

I worked as part of a team to maintain high room standards in the Alton Towers and Splash Landings hotels. I worked independently which demonstrated time management and organisation skills to ensure all tasks and work was completed within the set time and achieving the high standards set. I was then selected for a 3 month secondment working as a Housekeeping Floor Team Leader. The role allowed me to gain experience of having increased responsibilities and managing a team.
