I have previous management roles in an award-winning luxury lodge and larger multi-national hotels. My experience includes effective leadership, reacting to daily maintenance requirements, using my decision making and problem-solving skills, hand in hand with exceptional customer service skills. Solidifying this experience, I recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

As a small luxury lodge we are a small team and cover a lot of duties. For me that is front desk, reservations, inducting staff, concierge, driving guests, hosting evenings drinks and canapes, serving afternoon tea and making coffee, greeting guests at the airport and showing them around Queenstown, making our wine list and maintaining stock levels. I am a duty manager, health and safety officer, fire warden and have taken on sustainability passionately. I love developing in sales, marketing which has seen me represent Azur Lodge at TRENZ tradeshow in Rotorua, Auckland and Dunedin; and sales trips to Auckland, Brisbane and Sydney. I like building and maintaining relationships in our industry.I have had the responsibility of answering any phone calls after hours for 5 years, I am at Azur Lodge in minutes for any emergency.

2 seasons working for mt hotham accommodation service booking holidays for clients including accommodation and ski packages.

Looking after conference groups in our ballroom of often 400 pax and 20 staff. Serving morning and afternoon tea, lunches and running gala dinner functions. As well as small meetings in our small meeting rooms.
