I'm a Team Lead for Cyfle Cymru, to a team of Peer mentors and Volunteers who help people develop confidence to make positive life changes, and provide support to access training, education, volunteering and employment. Our peer mentors draw on their own lived experience to support people affected by substance use and/or mental health conditions. The peer mentors will support people aged 16 to 24 (Not in education, employment or training) and those 25+ that are economically inactive or long term unemployed. I’m also studying a degree in Forensic Psychology and I just gained my qualification is leadership and management. I’m also involved in a lot of women’s groups and doing work with a playwright.. more to come on that.. exciting!
