At 17 years old, the loss of my best friend thrust me into the office of a School Psychologist. Having access to school-based mental health changed my life and cemented my passion for student mental health. Today, I enthusiastically serve as an expert School Mental Health Consultant and Clinician Manager at the 2nd largest School District in Texas. With a proven record of elevating organizational capacity for implementing comprehensive and evidence-based mental health and special education supports, I am committed to helping schools and organizations establish student mental wellness as a core value of educational systems. Through the development and implementation of innovative programs aimed at suicide prevention, crisis response, academic intervention and assessment, mental health advocacy, and building strategic partnerships, I have served as an effective leader for student mental health across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
