I hosted a 2 minute entertainment segment highlighting businesses in the Tulsa area. My producer and I found creative ways to showcase and highlight products and services of local businesses. I was heavily involved in the pre-procution. I personally called the client to establish rapport before the shoots and created a script outline. We then traveled to the different establishments to conduct the interviews in a creative way that caters to the subject matter.

Produce daily news topicals. Connect with the viewers through writing, producing, shooting and editing promotional content under tight deadlines. Work with the news department daily to understand and tease the stories of the day in a unique way. Also produce image pieces, POPs, partnership spots for local sports teams and charities and sweeps promos as needed.

I had the opportunity to do some reporting in addition to my daily responsibilites as topical producer. I find my own stories to write, capture visual content, edit and produce for multiple platforms. Taking this on helped me further enhance my writing skills and storytelling skills for television news/feature reporting and producing.
