I am an associate veterinarian working as a completely mobile, equine emergency veterinarian in Southern California. I graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in spring of 2020, and then completed a rotating in-hospital internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky from 2020-2021 before moving out to California for my current role.I carry a deep passion for equine medicine, and greatly enjoy the varied workload I see on emergency. The vast majority of my role is serving as an on-call veterinarian for our practice's clients, but I do have space in my schedule for regular, routine, scheduled general practice appointments as well. The practice I work for has a total of 6 doctors, and we are proud to offer services in routine care such as vaccines and dental care, to field surgeries, internal medicine, and more advanced diagnostics such as endoscopy and gastroscopy, as well as sports medicine and regenerative therapies like PRP and ProStride. We serve a wide range of horses and disciplines, from upper level dressage horses and hunter/jumpers, to cow horses and cutting horses, to mounted police horses, to trail horses, to the beloved backyard pets and everything in-between.I absolutely love the job I am able to do every day - being the "boots on the ground" and the first line of defense in cases of emergency when our clients and their horses need us most.
