About Danielle Keating
I am a college-educated personal trainer with a gym and clinic. My specialties are senior fitness and exercise therapy. Before I earned my American Council on Exercise certification, I led chair aerobics for dementia patients. Once I acquired the personal training certificate, the first classes I taught involved golf conditioning for women over sixty and full-body flexibility. Once I obtained my Exercise Therapy certification from the International Sports Sciences Association, I performed hands-on assisted and PNF stretching for my clients. My experience is not limited to the gym; I have been a physical therapy aide since March of 2022, which is my current position. I work in a fast-paced environment alongside experienced therapists. In addition to my fitness instructing experience, I have experience as a college tutor, where I helped students improve their written communication and study skills. I wrote many health and wellness-related articles for freelance clients during and after college.As much as I love the gym, I would like more clinical experience as I wish to become a licensed physical therapy assistant. Right now, I am satisfying the prerequisite requirements for the degree. Until then, I am available full time and am excited to gain more knowledge and experience in my field.
