It almost seemed inevitable that I would find my way into natural healing, losing my father to cancer as a teenager and witnessing the devastating effects of the western medical system’s approach. I certainly knew what I didn’t want. Decades of my own experiences with autoimmune conditions, allergies, and battling mold toxicity lead me into deep study on the body, mind, soul connection and how to find natural ways of coming back into homeostasis. As a student of the body and the mind, I got my yoga teacher training in Trauma Informed Yoga with the understanding that one’s practice is only as good as the level of safety and surrender the student is able to experience. Breathwork and meditation is at the core of what I practice and teach because without addressing the level of our soul and our connection to that which is divine within us (and all things), we miss the point entirely and we starve our inner Self of the very life-breathing force that enables true recalibration and relief of suffering to occur. On my own path to healing I’ve studied everything from nutrition & supplementation to Reiki & energy work, as well as natural detoxing, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, somatic healing and the vast world of somatic tools.
