As a PhD candidate, I studied educational politics, research methods, policy implementation, organizations, race, ethnicity, gender, poverty, economics, and the social and cultural contexts of education. My primary research interests are in school gun violence, teacher labor markets, and campus carry on K-12 campuses. I was a founding member of the Los Angeles Corps Member Committee. Created as a leadership group, we liaised between TFA staff and corps members and worked to increase corps member success and retention.

I created behavioral intervention plans aimed at decreasing negative social behaviors. Major Accomplishment: Under supervision, I was given the independence to fully create clinical behavior modification programs for each of my clients.
