I teach multiple tutorial sections for 2 hours at a time. I help students work through chemistry problems and concepts. I also grade assignments, and respond to student emails. I also hold at least 2 hours of office hours and work one on one with students on chemistry problems and concepts.

I work in a rodent based behavior lab. The current project I'm working on is a maternal immune activation and dual hit theory project where we utilized the antioxidant properties of n-acetylcysteine as a preventative and reversal treatment for risk factors associated with neuropsychiatric disorders like autism and schizophrenia. I work directly with the subjects and help to oversee self-administration sessions, as well as conduct suture removal, and brain extractions. I also help to maintain care for the subjects and the lab space. I've also worked with our AI model focused staff member to hand score elevated plus maze videos and help to compare human scoring to AI scoring.

I was promoted to this position from a student worker position after 6 months. As a work area lead, I train student workers and manage the salads, subs, bakery, and vegetable preparation stations. I do everything from serving customers, cooking and baking food, restocking, plating food, fruit and vegetable preparation, sanitization of stations, and general clean up of the workplace.

My work as a team member involves everything from cashing out cars in the drive through, takingorders from customers, expediting food into bags, making drinks, stocking cups, ice, and etc... Aswell as sanitization of workstations and general clean up of the workplace.
